Sarah is a Registered Veterinary Technician with extensive experience in small animal medicine. In 2018, she transitioned to the industry side of veterinary care, supporting practices in maximizing the effectiveness of their daily tools.
As a Certified Customer Success Manager at Smart Flow and IDEXX, Sarah collaborated with private practices and enterprise groups to optimize their veterinary software, reducing administrative tasks so teams could focus more on patient care.
This experience led her to Galaxy Vets, where, as a Business Development Associate, she worked with practice owners to address key challenges such as burnout, workload, and the gap between desired and achievable patient care.
Today, Sarah serves as Director of Operations for the Urgent Care Group clinics. She oversees daily hospital operations and continually seeks improvements, maintaining her ongoing commitment to better working conditions for staff and enhanced care for patients.
Sarah lives in Halifax with her tuxedo cat, Norman. She regularly travels to Newfoundland to work on the hospital floor, which remains her favorite aspect of the role.
