Alicia Laurin is a Veterinary Assistant with several years of experience in veterinary medicine and a lifelong love of animals. Before beginning her career, she volunteered with animal shelters, veterinary clinics, and animal fundraising events. She graduated from Ashworth College with her Veterinary Assistant diploma in 2021 and went on to work primarily in small animal practice.
Alicia later worked at Willow Grove, an animal wellness and integrative medicine facility, where she developed a special interest in caring for sensitive, fearful, and vulnerable animals. She became Fear Free certified in 2023 and completed her Canine Hydrotherapy certification with honors in 2024.
Alicia is excited to continue expanding her urgent care experience with our team, bringing her gentle, compassionate approach to both patients and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys learning about canine behavior with her Border Collie, Jasper, and spending time with her rescue cat, Rolo.
